It is great not to smell a stinky cat box, or change one anymore! I’ve even gone out of town for as much as three days and it’s wonderful to come house to a thoroughly clean smelling house and not have to thoroughly clean up additional litter boxes or sweep the floor, I can just sit down and love on my cats! However, it’s not completely non-care. Occasionally I have to take an old toothbrush and clean poo off the scooper handle, or off the wall within the hopper. Also, if you’ve a cat that goes outside and eats grass, it doesn’t completely digest and wraps close to the spinner pole inside the hopper and I’ve to use tweezers to obtain it off. Other than those things, I’d not alter anything. If it broke tomorrow, I would instantly purchase another!

I didnt believe my cats would use it, they are picky, but they did. I left the old box in the laundry room next to the catgenie for 2 days. I didnt scoop the old box and they just started utilizing the catgenie and I got rid of the old box. They have used it ever since. I have 2 cats and have it set to thoroughly clean twice a day. It doesnt stink within the laundry room at all. It is a little noisy when cleaning but not any more noisy than a washing machine. I wish I’d have bought one of these sooner. I will never have one more litter box. I recommend this to anyone who hates cleaning litter boxes simply because it does operate. It comes with everything you need to hook it up to the water supply in the bathroom or the laundry room. And all the cords and tubes are additional long so there’s no problem fitting them where you want them to go.

I love just being able to push a button and walk away and know that the box is doing all the work for me (I’ve mine set to only run when I initiate it in order to be a bit more environmentally friendly and economical). It is also far more sanitary as my cat is no longer walking close to in a litter box that might be soiled if I haven’t had time to obtain to it and I am no longer handling cat waste whatsoever.
