Product Description
Frontline products are highly recommended by veterinarians for flea and tick control for dogs and cats. For cat owners who want long-lasting, fast-acting flea, tick, and chewing lice control, Frontline Plus guarantees control on cats aged 8 weeks and older. You only have to apply Frontline Plus once a month, so a 6-Dose supply will provide you with up to 6 months of convenient, highly effective flea, flea egg, chewing lice, and tick control.

Frontline Plus kills up to 100% of existing fleas in less than 24 hours and continues, on a single dose, killing them for at least an entire month. Its special ingredient also kills flea eggs and larvae, which, in effect, prevents the development of new fleas. It destroys all stages of 4 major ticks, including ticks that may carry Lyme disease, which provides your cat and your family with additional protection. Frontline Plus is waterproof, so your cat will still be protected if it bathes or goes for a swim. Merial backs up Frontline Plus with a limited Satisfaction Guarantee.

Using Frontline Plus is a simple 3-step process. First, remove the applicator from the child-resistant package, use scissors or just lift the plastic tab to expose the foil, and then peel down. Secondly, open the applicator, hold it upright, and snap the tip away from your face and body. Finally, apply Frontline Plus by placing the applicator tip through your cat’s hair to the skin between the shoulder blades. Squeeze the applicator to apply the entire dose to a single spot on the cat’s skin.

Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for Cats and Kittens Review
This product is not working as fast as so many reviews mention. I’m giving it time and the benefit of the doubt and complete my 3 month supply. If at this time there’s no positive results I’ll switch to another leading brand. I love my cat and I want the best product for him to control these crazy fleas. I was glad to receive the original product from amazon at a great price and a speedy delivery.

This product is 100% effective against fleas, is safe, easy to use and highly recommended. As a mobile Veterinary Technician and registered laboratory animal technologist, this is a product I encourage my clients to purchase and use. Be aware that in order for it to be effective, it must be applied to bare skin not fur. PART THE FUR and apply in drops along the spine beginning at the back of the neck, between the shoulder blades and all the way down to the base of the tail.

I have two cats, one female weighing an average of 10 lbs and the other, a male, weighs at about 20 lbs. I used this product on both of them at the same time last month and both of my cats still have fleas even more so than before. This product has failed to work so much so that I have gone back to see if maybe I received an expired product by mistake but have not found an expiration date on the box. Next, I’m contacting the manufacturer to see if maybe there is a recall on the product. As it is, I would not recommend this product to anyone and, in fact, I am advising fellow pet owners to not use this FrontLine.

This is a very important product to our feline friends. If you live in the southern half of the United States you need to be aware of a Tick born disease that kills. We had a cat die last year due to cytauxzoonosis or “Bobcats Disease” it is a blood born parasite that is transmitted through a tick bite. We were using this product on the cat that passed but wasn’t real regular about the every 6 week application. So he would pick up one or two ticks before we dosed him again. Unfortunately we were not aware of such a disease from a tick that kills, THERE IS NO CURE, IT IS A DEATH SENTENCE IF YOUR CAT GETS BOBCAT’S DISEASE. It is very important to check with your vet about dosing but our vet recommended using Frontline Plus every three weeks during heavy tick infestation season. So far using this product on our other two cats with this new dosing schedule has proven effective in keeping our cats healthy. #1 thing is to check with your vet on tick born illnesses in your area and dosing instructions.
