I got this pan for my cat and it's great!

The high sides prevent any leakage at the seam between the top and bottom, it seems pretty roomy and it controls odor well. I did, however, take off the flap door to make my cat more comfortable.

Goin' in privacy
When a person thinks 'covered litter box' this is exactly the kind of box they're thinking of.

It gets the job done, giving your cats a place to do their business in private and helps to keep the smell down. It's a big box, the ideal size for your adult cats. The lid comes with an optional door flap that you can remove or snap on with ease. Some cats don't like them, I know one of mine was confused by it.

There's not much else to say. It's good quality. It's made out of lightweight but sturdy plastic that will probably withstand many years of kitties scraping at the walls in their instinctive gestures to bury their business.

Good product, marginal order
This is the second of these boxes I've bought from this company. They are extra large and the entrance is high, which is perfect for larger cats who have a habit of hanging their rears out the ends of lower entrance boxes. I'm giving this three stars because they shipped me a box with a blue upper portion and a beige lower portion instead of a solid one, or notifying me that they were out f stock on one particular color and giving me the option of waiting or accepting the multi-color.

Haven't tried it yet, but...
We have a smaller version of the same cat box and it works okay. Our cats can't figure out how to work the door, so we finally just threw it away. I haven't used it because we're planning on using it for our new apartment, which we haven't moved into yet. Actually, my biggest beef with itwas color. I had a black, grey and white with candles design for the bathroom, and it's kindof ruined by the bright blue cat box that I got. Looks like I'll be buying a new one as soon as we can afford it.

Great litter box! Buying a 2nd one
This is probably the best litter box I have owned. I've had many different types of boxes in the past, including the expensive Litter Robot and other automatic cleaning boxes, as well as another one Amazon sells that looks like a big fake plant and always gets lots of compliments because no one can tell it's a litter box! The problem I have with that one is it is difficult to clean, cannot be carried easily from room to room without the top falling off, and my cats fling litter around on the floor. I still have that box but was needing to add a second box since I recently moved to a 2-story home. I am so glad I found this one. First, it is the perfect size for my cats. It is large but not so big it won't fit easily in a corner. I agree with other reviewers that it is not necessarily "Extra" large. I really love the shiny, smooth finish - not only is it pretty to look at and feels nice, it is easy to wipe clean. The top latches easily to the base and is very secure, easily moved when you need to. I was worried my cats would not adjust to having a flap-door but they had no issues at all. This is a HUGE help in preventing litter all over the floor! It also seriously cuts down on any litter box odor. It's amazing how an inexpensive box like this has made a task I *dreaded* become so much easier and I no longer can smell the box when I walk through the door. I'm buying another one and getting rid of my expensive "plant" lookalike!
